The Moto Tab G62 is an upcoming Motorola product that joins the company’s Tab G20 and Tab G70. The device was previously seen on Google Play’s Supported Device List, and now it has appeared on the Google Play Console. As per the report, the Moto Tab G62 will head to the market in LTE and Wi-Fi variants, and each variant has its own SoC. As you can see in the screenshots, the product with model number “XT2261-2” is the LTE variant with the Qualcomm SM6125 processor and 4GB of RAM. To be more specific, this SoC is the same Snapdragon 665 that’s accompanied by the Adreno 610 GPU. The LTE variant of the Motorola Moto Tab G62 runs Android 12 as the default OS. Also, the screen resolution is Full HD+. As the name implies, this is an LTE version, meaning it has a sim card slot.
The Wi-Fi variant of Moto Tab G62 comes with a different processor
The Motorola Moto Tab G62 tablet also has a Wi-Fi variant with the model number “XT2261-1.” It’s obvious that you won’t get a sim card slot with this model. According to the Google Play Console listing, the LTE and Wi-Fi variants are all equal in design, software, screen, etc. However, the Wi-Fi variant features a Qualcomm SM6150 processor, which is the same Snapdragon 675. This processor has two cores at 2GHz and six at 1.7GHz. Also, it uses an Adreno 612 GPU. The leaked images from the devices’ front panel show no significant difference between the LTE and Wi-Fi variants. But the Wi-Fi version may come with a bunch of tablet-driven apps like Tablet Center and some note-taking apps. Also, the price for both variants is still unknown, but these devices are both mid-range and will likely have a competitive price. Motorola is also working on a new budget phone that shares the Moto G62 name with these tablets. The device reportedly features 5G connectivity, a 120Hz display, and a 5,000mAh battery.
